Influenced by West and East Coast cultures, Chevrolet has just announced two very unique coastal-themed Corvette designs sure to be hits not only in designated sales areas, but also with collectors nation wide. We first got a glimpse of these unique Corvette design packages last year when they appeared as concept vehicles [3] at the annual SEMA Show, but according to GM News, both Corvette packages will be up for grabs later this year! Here’s what they entail:

Just like many automotive manufacturers have done in the past, later this year Chevrolet will release a couple of special edition Corvette design packages based on certain demographics. These special models are being labeled the Atlantic convertible and the Pacific coupe.

“One of the design goals for the Corvette Stingray was to provide customers with the flexibility to tailor the car to their personality,” Kirk Bennion, Corvette exterior design manager stated in a recent GM news release. “The Atlantic and Pacific Design Packages were originally designed to showcase how the Stingray could be configured as a luxury sport GT car or as a high-performance motorsport car.”

Introduced at the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, these two “Design Packages” are the latest Chevy designs to move from SEMA Show concepts to manufacturing realities. Both packages will be available starting later this year when the 2015 Corvette Stingrays are released for sale.

Just as gorgeous as the Pacific Design Package, the 2015 Atlantic Design Package gives the Stingray convertible a more luxurious feel.

Inspired by private jets associated with luxury European vacations, the GT-esque Atlantic Design Package will only be available on Z51-equipped convertibles with either 2LT or 3LT trim packages. Included in the special Atlantic package is a front Z06-style splitter, chrome Torque wheels, custom splash guards and logo valve stem caps, a Stingray underhood liner and floor mats, and even custom luggage. Available in any Stingray color option, the design is topped off with Shark Gray exterior vents, tonneau inserts and “stinger” hood graphic.

Inspired by West Coast performance enthusiasts, the Pacific Design Package offers up something a little different. Meant to be “track focused,” the Pacific package is only available on Z51-equipped coupes with either 2LT or 3LT trim packages. This package can only be had in Torch Red, Arctic White, Black, Blade Silver, or new for 2015 color Shark Grey.

Satin Black Z51 wheels with a red stripe, CFZ carbon fiber ground effects and roof panel, red brake calipers, custom splash guards, and Satin Black full-length racing stripes give the Pacific Design Package its unique appearance. Inside, carbon fiber trim, Stingray sill plates, Stingray floor mats, and red or black Competition Sport Seats carry the car’s theme throughout.

Though neither package is available quite yet, you won’t have to wait too long before you can order one for yourself. And if these two designs aren’t really your thing, have no fear – comments about future limited-run Stingray designs coming in the future made by Todd Christensen, Corvette Marketing Manager indicate more unique factory designs in the future.
