Corvettes at Carlisle day #3 was a gas. Balmy and warm but not humidity free, roughy 5000 Corvettes showed up to preen in the sunshine.

As usual, the first weekend day of the show is the busiest by far. The last two days were easy to navigate, but today we have strollers, crying kids, wheelchairs, folks who broke their ankle/arm yesterday, shuffling thorough the rows of cars. Evidently nothing will stop folks of all ages and abilities from seeing this spectacle.

But enough of that, lets get to the good stuff. We captured and uploaded multiple videos and walkarounds to Corvette Online Facebook and really captured the 2017  Corvettes At Carlisle.

We did sweep of the out-buildings and were in awe at the Corvette related brochures, ephemera, models, t-shirts and doo-dads for sale.  We also had a glimpse into the greasy fingered business of dismantling and reselling bits of old Corvettes. It’s amazing after seeing so many pristine Corvettes at the show to imagine how many were neglected and left to die.

Speechless.

Sunday is increasingly looking like a “load out” and travel day with many folks hitting the road to get back home for the work week. It is also a great time to come back and scour the swap/parts area and see of if there are any bargains to be had.

The culmination of the party culminated in the annual cruise to downtown Carlisle and we captured that for you at the top of the piece.  Enjoy!
