He who has the most tools, has the most car-guy friends.

It’s hard to believe that another Thursday is already upon us. If you’re like me, you’re already planning what you’ll be working on this weekend. That means you’ll need tool. So,this week’s history session revolves around that subject. Once again, we’ll celebrate another editorial throwback and jump into the way back machine and open the Power Automedia vault that houses our vast collection of articles and revisit a great article.

If you’re using a block of wood and a BFH to install dampers, you need this tool.

In this Throwback Thursday, I’m taking a step back to July, 2017, to bring you an article that you guys might have either forgotten about, or might not even know exists. Whichever the case, I am certain that you will enjoy this editorial flashback. So, without further ado, let’s take a look back at Tool Tech: 10 Items Every Gearhead Should Have!

In the original article, we took the time to ask our Facebook followers what they felt were the 10 must-have tools for any enthusiast. With that list in our grubby mitts, we reached out to the folks at Moroso to show you what you need. Don’t get worried, the list is made up of items that can be had for under $300, so there’s no excuse for not having them. Some of the tools are simple, and some are for the more mechanically advanced enthusiasts, but either way, tools are tools, and if you’re like me, you can never have too many.

The original article covers everything from simple hand tools to engine building must-haves.

Check out the original article. You’ll be glad you did. The listed tools are often overlooked as “needed,” but I’m certain that there are still many enthusiasts that would love to upgrade their tool box. For that reason, I thought this a great piece for this week’s Throwback Thursday flashback. To find out how more, check out, Tool Tech: 10 Items Every Gearhead Should Have!
