Let’s be honest, how many owner’s manuals have you EVER read from cover to cover? We thought so. Truth of the matter is, today’s autos have more gizmos and gadgets than James Bond could have ever imagined and owner’s manuals can help you solve some of life’s most pressing issues, like how to get that fuel door opened or perhaps how to navigate all that the latest C7’s dash has to offer.
Many times, it helps to have a friend who can explain beyond the salesman/lawyer-approved jargon and put things into everyday language with fitting application. Thankfully, the National Corvette Museum (NCM) is now offering a “Corvette 101” service where an NCM Delivery Team member will provide C7 Corvette owners with additional information and assistance to fully orientate them with their vehicle.
Personalized sessions are set up by appointment only and prior to your appointment, the NCM Delivery Team member will research your car’s options using the supplied VIN number. You are also encouraged to write down any additional questions you may have pertaining to your Corvette. Topics typically addressed during the session may include the car’s infotainment system, memory seats, drive mode selection, performance data recorder (PDR), heads-up display (HUD), driver instrument center (DIC), curb and rear vision cameras, remote keyless entry/remote start, vehicle maintenance/care and more.
The cost of the Corvette 101 program is set at $50.00 per hour, with payment for the first hour due at the time of scheduling. Any additional hours can then be purchased on demand. Check out the NCM’s Corvette 101 web page for more information about this program and for contact information about setting up your personalized instruction session about YOUR Corvette.
