LG Motorsports Prepares To Break Ground On New Racing Facility

These days, it seems like every time we hear about a track, it’s because it’s getting closed or worse, shut down. So it brightens our day substantially to hear about one that is actually looking to open, brining new life to the automotive sports we love. And that’s exactly what LG Motorsports is doing with their purposed 3.4 mile road course that is set to be built behind the brand’s new manufacturing facilities in Anna, Texas.

LG’s new digs is a state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot facility that was recently built to cope with the brand’s rapid growth. And while manufacturing high-quality components for your late-model GM vehicle maybe the name of the game for LG, they’re racers at heart just like you and me. In fact, Lou Gigliotti, president and CEO of LG, has raced professionally for quite a while and has won his fair share of races.

This must be what heaven looks like.

Naturally, the urge to hone ones skills doesn’t go away with being the head of one of the leading aftermarket companies around. In fact, it gives you the tools necessary to build your own track so you can do that all the time. And while we’re sure that LG will put the track to good use for product testing and development, the bigger news is that they plan to open the track to enthusiasts from all around the country.

The facility is being developed complete with villas, garages, and paddocks aplenty, assuring anyone who visits that they will be doing so in comfort. A world-class karting track is also being added to the complex to accommodate those who like to compete on a budget. Not only will the company provide villas, but customized motorsports garages are also up for sale that can be catered to your every whim. Not a bad investment if you ask us.

The VIP clubhouse will be stuffed to the gills with accouterments such as a professional race simulator, private locker rooms, pools, tennis courts, and spaces to host any type of event you can think of.

Construction is set to begin in mere weeks pending local governmental approvals. So if you live anywhere near Anna, Texas, or are just looking for a good investment and are obsessed with circuit racing, the guys at LG Motorsports have what you’re looking for. We’ll see you there!
