Hyperco’s Corvette Leaf Springs Are Ready For The Street Or Track

We’re sure most of you have heard of Hyperco. They’ve been a big name in the automotive aftermarket’s suspension sector (both in motorsports and in the off-road world) for a while now.

All proudly built in the US, their popular designs have evolved, yet maintained some of their key qualities from the early 1960s. Many of their products boast their version of the “secret formula,” a proprietary composite material, that weighs in much lighter than traditional steel, but is also very strong.

One of their popular vehicle applications, the Chevrolet Corvette, has recently received some attention – now, with an even wider expanse of product offerings. Sure, the Corvette already feels great going around corners. This, along with its power, is probably the reason 99% of owners ended up opting for one. Hyperco’s new leaf springs now allow ‘Vette owners to reach the suspension performance level desired – whether you track yours or just enjoy it on the streets.

Aside from their available Hypercoil springs, their leaf springs also are constructed from their innovative composite material. There are two available types: a “Street Series” for the C3, C4, and C5, and a “Track Series” for the C5 and C6.

Both feature Delrin pad-equipped height adjusters that allow for a wide range, from mild to aggressive, of adjustment and fine tuning to the car’s look and handling characteristics. The High Performance Street Series (HPS) improves cornering, overall road feel, and initial turn-in response – all while keeping a quiet and comfortable ride for your daily driver. The High Performance Track Series (HPT), on the other hand, allows for a “race-ready” spring rate, perfect for autocross, and other competitive racing.

Hyperco’s Corvette leaf springs, along with many other products, are available for order through Summit Racing Equipment. To learn more, visit Hyperco’s website HERE.
