If you think driving a C6 Z06 Corvette on pavement is fun, you can bet piloting one on the water is just as thrilling, if not more so. It’s been called “the Corvette that runs on water“, and this Z06 Corvette-inspired, 7.0-liter LS7 V8-powered hull was produced by Malibu Boats from 2007 through 2009. Only 50 units total found their way to the public, and this particular one is dubbed serial number eight of the aforementioned 50 total produced.

And just like the other 49 manufactured – it too features Corvette underpinnings – such as a complete C6 Z06 TREMEC TR-6060 six-speed manual transmission and a complete C6 Z06 Corvette interior. Moreover, the ‘Vette-powered vessel features a Z06 Corvette-inspired rear seating section and an eight-speaker sound system from Rockford Fosgate.

According to Malibu Boats, “the Corvette Limited Edition Sport-V was the fastest production towboat ever created.” It’s not hard to back that statement up when your hull is powered by a 427ci V8 good for 505 horsepower. Serial number eight was recently serviced by Anything Audio Upholstery, who also commented that the boat will be up for sale by the Davinci Motor Group as soon as next week.
