Callaway Cars was in attendance at the 25th Annual Mid America Motorworks Corvette Funfest this week in Effingham, Illinois with some serious entertainment.
First, Callaway staff was in attendance with the latest Callaway Corvettes and the Callaway Aerowagen, and in conjunction with the Ronald McDonald House (RMDH) of Central Valley California, raffling off a 2018 Callaway Corvette Z06 Carbon 65 Edition SC757.
Raffle tickets could be purchased at the show with proceeds going to RMDH.
Second, show goers could drive a Callaway in the “Callaway Challenge” where it was determined who can drive the furthest or the fastest – with a golf club! Once entered in the Challenge, contestants had a shot at winning a new Callaway golf club or a retro Callaway Cars poster, along with other prizes.
The competition took place at a state-of-the-art Golf Simulator. Chris Chessnoe from Callaway Cars was on hand to help facilitate the competition.
The Fastest Drive contest could be won by the participant with the quickest ball speed. First prize will consist of one Callaway Golf Club, a throwback Callaway-themed “Car and Driver” Poster and a $25 Mid America Motorworks Gift Certificate. Second Prize is a Callaway-themed “Car and Driver” Poster and $25 Mid America Motorworks Gift Certificate. The Longest Drive contest had the same prizes.
