SEMA 2015: TSW Stuns With Mechanica, Black Rhino Revolution Wheels

Two of the stars of TSW‘s SEMA Show appearance are its Mechanica and Revolution wheels. One is sleek, light, and sophisticated; the other bold, tough, and muscular. Both hit all the high notes, delivering the quality, performance, and durability that enthusiasts demand.

TSW’s agile Mechanica is a rotary forged wheel aimed at the luxury performance segment populated by Mercedes Benz, BMW, Lexus, and Audi. Sales rep Augy Nieves explained TSW’s manufacturing process for the Mechanica. “For rotary forging we low-pressure cast the face and spin out the barrel. The face is only about four or five inches deep and spin forging the breast of the barrel results in a lightweight wheel because the barrel is thinner, but the process makes for a more rigid, stronger wheel. This wheel is offered in two finishes, machined and silver and gunmetal with a black matte face. The face of the Mechanica has a concave angle to it which adds to the aggressive nature of the wheel.”

The rugged Black Rhino Revolution is a low-pressure cast aluminum alloy wheel designed for light trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps. It is available in a matte black with matte-machined face, gloss black with machined face, and the traditional matte black, which Nieves says seems to be everyone’s favorite flavor. “The design replicates a bead-lock look with rectangular slots around the edge. You can see through them which gives the wheel a cool 3D effect.

We are offering the wheel in 17×9, 18×9, 20×9, and 20×10 sizes in five- or six-lug configuration. The 20×10 fitment produces an off-road look where the owners are running a three-inch or higher lift and typically a 33-inch or bigger tire.”

TSW has a jam-packed portfolio of wheels with innovative designs, tons of fitment options, and unparalleled build quality. Check out its website for more product information.
