We stopped by the Late Model performance experts at SLP Performance Parts booth at the SEMA tradeshow to find out what was new from the New Jersey company. Marketing Manager Kevin Woodruff was excited to tell us about their new TVS 2300 Supercharger package that was coming to the market in the first quarter of 2012.

According to Woodruff, “this package is gonna be a real tire shredder for the Late Model Camaros, Vettes, Challengers and Chargers.”

Featuring an Eaton top mount supercharger, “it’s a bolt on kit that is competitively priced and will be 50 state legal,” says Woodruff.

The supercharger sports a four lobe twin screw configuration with the jackshaft on the side for Camaro and Corvette applications. Woodruff explained that the kit was upgradable in stages which would allow users to drive and enjoy their daily driver between upgrades.

Another feature is the 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty that Woodruff says “adds an extra level of comfort for the customer so they can actually go out and put this unit on their car and have some fun.” Woodruff said that the installation time was conservatively between eight to ten hours, so the entire assembly could be installed and enjoyed the same weekend.

The kit we saw on the tradeshow flow included the top mount supercharger in black finish with cold air intake, programmer, rocker package, pulley, boost pump and stage two injectors for a 675+ horsepower kit for 2010-2012 V8 Camaros.

Look for this tire shredding kit to hit the market in March of 2012. Look for buyers of this kit to be purchasing tires one day later.
