If Santa somehow missed your letter asking for a new Corvette for Christmas, you may be thinking of just going out and getting one for yourself. Well, this would be a good time because in addition to a little less space in your garage, you’ll receive a complimentary two-day driving school to get familiar with your new ride.
[2]This is the same driving school course that ZR1 owners have been entitled to since GM introduced the program in 2009. You must purchase the car before February 28, 2011 in order to qualify for the free tuition at either of the two official Driving Schools of Chevrolet. They are Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving near Phoenix, Arizona, and the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain, just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada.
While the deal covers school tuition only, you have up to a year from taking delivery of the car to attend the course. As is the case for ZR1 buyers, you’re on the hook for travel, meal and accommodation expenses. Anyone that buys a 2010 or 2011 ZR1 model during the program will receive a third day of tuition. You must use the three days consecutively.
While I haven’t seen the Bondurant school, I have been to the Spring Mountain facility in Parumph, Nevada, and it is first class all the way. In any case, you’ll receive literature from both schools, so you can make up your own mind.
