Our friends at Zip Corvette are celebrating their 35th anniversary, and they want you to join in the party. Zip has several events planned throughout 2012 as part of the celebration, and the first one will kick off Saturday, April 14th with their “Cruisin’ in the Fast Lane” Spring Car Show, held at the Zip Corvette headquarters in Mechanicsville, Virginia. “Cruisin’ in the Fast Lane” will be more than just a car show; featuring technical demonstrations, a BBQ lunch, and a 10% discount at the Zip Showroom for those in attendance.

Zip has been providing Corvette enthusiasts with top quality parts for their Vettes since 1977. In that 35 year time span Zip has grown from the one man operation of Mr. Wayne Walker who custom made fuel lines for his friend’s early Corvettes, to a commercial empire that now stocks over 25,000 restoration and performance parts for nearly every model of Vette. Zip CEO, Mr. David Walker, the son of Wayne Walker, knows that it’s the customers that have made Zip what it is today. Walker tells us, “We understand that the key to success in the Corvette parts industry is a customer base that trusts us and knows that we’re here for the long run.”

The “Crusin’ in the Fast Lane” car show is just one of the ways that Zip plans to celebrate their success with their customers, and more importantly with their fellow Corvette enthusiasts. Because after all, Corvettes are all the folks at Zip do 365 days a year, for the last 35 years and for many, many years to come. Check out Zip’s website and the event flyer below for more info
