Typically, searching YouTube involves weeding through literally hundreds of dealership videos hawking new and used Corvettes, making it a tedious process to find the latest and greatest Vette videos. Going through forty or more pages with about seventy-percent of the videos being sales pitches for Corvettes needing a new home for a reasonable price makes this process really boring, but during a recent search we found a very different kind of “walk around” video.

After looking at the still images converted into a video, it seemed worth investigating this anomaly in used car Corvette sales but alas the link in video description went nowhere. Undeterred by a bad link, a quick copy and paste of the description led to the listing; currently the C6 is for sale at Ken’s Auto Inc. in Strasburg, North Dakota. Despite the front-end damage the rest of car looks fairly clean and with 27,247 miles on the odometer the $14,500 price tag does not seem that bad.

Although the status of the title remains unclear, it seems like a safe bet that title is probably salvaged. Regardless of the story behind the damage, this wrecked Corvette ad breaks up the monotony of the classified advertising on YouTube and perhaps this will start a new trend in damaged vehicle sales. If it catches on it will provide plenty of fodder for future Wrecked ‘Vette Wednesdays.
