Being that it is in fact “humpday” we figured it was time for another Wrecked Vette Wednesday segment. While we never seem to lose that initial cringe of seeing a fellow Corvette lover’s cherished car in dire situations, we have to be honest with ourselves… it can be entertaining. This week, we found a picture of a C6 stuck in one heck of an awkward situation.

As you can see from the picture above, this beautiful burnt orange C6 managed to collide with the cable supporting some type of utility pole and ramp right up it. Luckily, the Corvette is centered enough on the wire that it is seemingly suspended and perfectly balanced. Judging from the bumper marks on the concrete, and the gentleman with his hands on his head (we’re assuming the driver) speaking with the uniformed officer, I think it’s safe to assume this was an honest accident.

We were surprised to find another picture of a Corvette in a similar predicament. Unfortunately, this C6 looks to have gone through a bit more of a violent crash before backing itself up onto the wire. This makes for quite the shot, balancing on a single cable like that.

It would make sense that the man with his hands on his head above would be the driver, so we can assume that he is alright. The second car’s occupants may be a bit shaken up, but considering there is a lack of visible cockpit damage and deployed airbags, we’re hoping that they are alright as well. Hopefully this is not a new C6 trend!
