World Series MVP David Freese Wins A 2012 Corvette

Sports heroes can receive fame, fortune and even a 2012 Corvette, if they are lucky enough to earn the MVP award during the World Series. David Freese of the Cardinals was selected as this year’s World Series Most Valuable Player and subsequently received a brand new dark green 2012 Corvette. Yahoo News [3] describes how Freese stepped up to help his team secure the 2011 championship for the Cardinals. Even those unfamiliar with baseball have heard of Albert Pujols, but a single titan does not win championships; it takes a team to bring home the trophy. This achievement required some of the middle of road players to step up their game and Freese was the man for the job.

By steeping up to the plate and driving in 3 runs during game six, Freese ensured that the Cardinals were on the path to victory in the series. According to Yahoo news, Freese made an estimated $416,000 this season, but will have a nice little bonus thanks to GM. As the MVP Freese was able to drive home a 2012 dark green Corvette, but it was certainly in need of a detailer following the celebration. However, if Freese did drive the Corvette home that night it probably needed a quick detail to remove those pesky water champagne spots following the celebration. Corvette fans are certain to welcome the 2012 MVP recipient David Freese into the family and Freese will hopefully enjoy driving the C6 to practice.
