On May 7th, at 2pm, Easter Seals will be announcing the winner of a brand new 2011 Corvette and $50,000.00 cash, as a thanks for helping out disabled children and adults. Its their 49th raffle of its kind and it has been an enormous success. Easter Seals has been helping adults and children with disabilities for over 80 years and was founded by Edgar Allen in 1919.
Originally called the National Society for Crippled Children, the first charity of its kind, then later on in 1934 launching their first Easter Seals campaign, and by 1952 had officially incorporated the Lily logo for their own. Now nationally known they have raised over 10 million alone just from the auto raffles since 1992.
You can feel good about helping someone less fortunate and who knows maybe it will be you that drives away with the brand new 2011 Corvette and fifty thousand in cold hard cash. The tickets are being sold at only $50 each, and are limited to 5000, and you can buy as many as you like, you do not have to be present to win.
The car itself is being given away from John Bowman Chevrolet at 2pm on May 7th so there is still time to help out this very worthwhile cause. I don’t know about you, but its better odds than playing the lottery.
