When reflecting on the title “Want to win a pair of Singrays,” the real question should be, who wouldn’t want to win a pair of Stingrays? 

After seeing an ad recently for Win 2 Vettes, our team was immediately interested in what was actually offered and if you really could win not one, but two, Vettes. As it turns out, DreamGiveaways (who is not affiliated with CorvetteOnline) is what appears to be an internet-based company that has numerous prize packages going on an annual basis that donate proceeds to charity. With prizes ranging from Carribbean cruises to a pair of Corvettes, customers are able to buy raffle tickets based on their budget in hopes of winning the prize package they are after.

According to their website, if you enter their “Win 2 Vettes” giveaway, you have the opportunity to win a black 1963 split-window Stingray along with a black 2014 C7 Stingray Z51. The website also claims that the 2014 C7 Stingray has 700+ hp thanks to custom tuning by Lingenfelter Performance. To sweeten the pot, the giveaway also includes up to $45,000 for taxes. 

While we have no information as to the validity of these claims, the nationally advertised television commercial they run does have the supposed 2013 winner sitting next to his two white Stingrays. The raffle tickets that cost about a buck are actually variably priced depending on the amount of tickets purchased (more tickets purchased, the less cost per ticket and vice versa).

Sometimes an offer seems too good to be true and while the jury is still out on this giveaway, it’s definitely a fun thought to think about wining a pair of Corvettes for just a couple of bucks.
