Video: ZR-1 Wins Spectre 341 Challenge Hillclimb

Starting off the first-ever Spectre 341 Challenge with a bang beneath the Nevada skies, Lou Gigliotti drove his LG Motorsports 2010 ZR-1 against over two dozen supercars including a rally-prepped Nissan GT-R, a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, a handful of Porsche 911 turbos, a variety of muscle cars and even a 1952 DeSoto Pikes Peak racer.

Against the odds, Red Line [1] customer, Lou Gigliotti out of Wylie, Texas, took the overall event win, pushing his modified 750-horsepower ‘Vette to a best of 3:21.747, followed closely by Steve Millen in a Stillen GT-R (3:22.926) and Jeremy Kappus in an AWD Lancer Evolution (3:25.579). Mark Gillies drove his 2010 Viper ACR to a respectable 3:19.414, but was in an exhibition class due to tires that, “did not meet the minimum 100 tread wear rating.”
