GM has a verifiable hit on its hands with the 2014 Corvette Stingray, with backorders reaching six months or more for certain models. Those who placed their orders early are just starting to get their cars, and this includes a number of aftermarket parts and wheel makers looking to showcase some choice bits for the all-new Corvette.
Among these early adopters is Vossen Wheels [1], which released this teaser video showing a new 2014 Corvette (wearing some very nice Vossen wheels) tearing up the track and burning some rubber. Oh yes, there will be smoke.
Vossen Wheels has burst onto the scene in the past few years, making some excellent high-quality videos showcasing their big, shiny wheels on some truly exotic cars. While the Corvette may not technically qualify as an exotic, it is one of the hottest and most sought-after cars on the planet right now…and Vossen has access to one.

The 27-second teaser doesn’t show much, other than a blacked-out 2014 Corvette Stingray wearing some of Vossen’s 10-spoke Precision Series wheels. The video shows equal parts drag strip and race track, with lots of burning rubber and revving engines thrown in. The full video hits YouTube on Friday, so stay tuned.
