What do Corvettes and vintage swimwear have to do with each other? On the surface, not a whole lot. For one thing, while vintage Corvettes are still hot commodities, you don’t see women rushing out to buy one piece bathing suits and caps that leave everything to the imagination. But then again, who said one-piece vintage swimsuits can’t be sexy?
Not us, that’s for sure. So when we first came across this video of a stunning blond washing a yellow 1972 C3 Corvette in a classic-looking bathing suit, we weren’t quite sure what was going on… but we liked it.
A little bit of Googling revealed that this “Jemma Jube” is actually a brand of vintage, luxury swimwear designed in Australia (hence the right-hand drive on the ‘Vette) and stitched in France. Suddenly, it all comes together.
You see, these days people are very much into retro-chic, recalling classic looks and styles in an effort to set themselves apart, for a premium price of course. While we don’t expect to see these retro one-piecers replacing bikinis any time soon, it certainly adds some flair to the swimsuit lineup.
Oh, and about that Corvette; well, its a yellow Stingray and… uh… ya. Look, this video is just a flimsy excuse to bring you a blond babe wearing some sexy vintage-style swimwear. Do you really need any further explanation? Just enjoy.
