The day of the 2014 Corvette C7’s reveal is nearly here.

After years of anticipation and months of teaser trailers dating back to early November, of being subjected to rendering after rendering after rendering, we will finally get a chance to see what GM has been up to. One thing is for damn sure, they have built up expectations for the 2014 Corvette to levels not seen for an American car since, well, ever if you ask us. The Corvette C7 has the potential to not just be the car of the year, but perhaps the car of the decade. Maybe even the millennium.

Ok, that might be a bit of a stretch, but suffice to say the final teaser trailer, entitled “Creation” has dropped this morning, and it gives us our best look yet at an uncompleted C7. Anticipation, thy name is Corvette.

This 50-second video takes us inside the Bowling Green, Kentucky production facilities to see the Corvette C7 coming together. Johnathan Andrews, a body shop engineers, explains quite simply that every gram of weight on the Corvette C7 had to earn its way onto the car. That means this will be one light Corvette, if Andrews and his fellow engineers did their job right.

While we still don’t get a crystal clear image of the C7, we do get to see some of the body panels, undercarriage, and other key components coming together. GM really invested in the production values of this video, and it shows. With just three days to go until the official reveal, this final video ends with a very pertinent statement; “Precision never rests.” Indeed.
