We’ve seen a few pink Corvettes in our day, from the C5 “Barbie” corvette to West Coast princess Angelyne’s C6, but in most areas of the country, pink means breast cancer awareness. That’s why two guys in the Ohio area recently decided to paint a Corvette pink for a very special cause. Check out the unveiling of the bright pink C4 in the video above.

Back in March we told you about this special 1984 pink Corvette built to bring cancer awareness every where it went.

Brian Bair and Dave Gray, two Chevy guys with prominent automotive businesses, approached the Meadville Medical Center’s Yolanda G Barco Oncology Institute with the idea of restoring the old C4 and painting it pink some time ago. The car was finally unveiled at the kick off to the Cruisin’ for a Cure fundraiser on May 4th.

But the bright pink paint job isn’t the only thing that makes this car stand out. It is also receiving signatures everywhere it goes as it travels the Ohio area to raise money for the Oncology center to purchase and maintain a special vehicle to transport cancer patients to their treatments.

Individuals who make a donation are asked to sign the car and at the end of the Cruisin’ for a Cure tour, the car will be auctioned off to raise even more money. Even celebrities like Jay Leno have stepped up to support the bright pink Corvette’s cause.

Check out the “Pink Vette” doing its thing and collecting more signatures at the CruiseTown Erie 2012 event in Erie, Pennsylvania recently in the video below.
