Video: LSX “Dyno Theater Triple-Play” with Livernois Motorsports

If you enjoy watching seriously powerful LS powered cars tearing it up on the dyno as much as we do, then we know you’ll want to check out this drum-turning-trio of videos from our friends at Livernois Motorsports [1].

Up first we have a Livernois tuned 2010 LS3 powered Corvette Coupe, that has a whole gang of top notch mods under the hood. Livernois bolted on a 2.9L Whipple Supercharger to the top of the LS3, and added their own Stage 2C Camshaft and Dual Valve Spring kit to really help it breathe. A set of Kooks long-tube headers [2] and a Corsa exhaust [3] keep the spent exhaust gasses moving fast and sounding wicked. Livernois [1] worked their tuning magic and were able to squeeze out 629 rear-wheel horsepower, and 513 pound feet of torque from the C6.

Second, for your viewing pleasure, we have a Livernois tuned 2009 Pontiac G8 GT doing its thing on the dyno. We love the G8: it’s fast enough to beat up on any common Mustang you come across, yet practical enough to haul the kids and in-laws around in without anyone complaining. This particular G8 features a Magnacharger MP1900 Supercharger [4], and Livernois’ own Stage 1C spec’ed camshaft. The Whipple whips up on Livernois’ dyno to the tune of 540 rear-wheel horsepower and 473 pound feet of torque. Not bad at all for a smallish 6.0L.

And finally, rounding out our LSXMAG Dyno Theater Triple-Play, we have yet another powerful G8 GT that Livernois has thrown the proverbial kitchen sink at. This thing has a 404 cubic inch block, with an external lung stamped with “ProCharger [5]” on the side. Livernois also added their Stage 1C Cam, dual valve spring kit, a custom twin pump fuel system, ported intake and throttle body, as well as a set of Kooks longtube headers [2]. Of course, Livernois [1] also used their DOD Delete kit [6], since gas mileage probably isn’t too much of a concern to anyone with 404 cubic inches under the hood. Even pushing through the restrictive stock exhaust, this Pontiac beast still pumps out 641 rear-wheel horsepower, and 550 pound-feet of torque, and doesn’t even sound that loud while doing it.

The folks at Livernois regularly posts awesome videos on their Facebook page [7] of all the different projects they have going on in their shop; everything from stroker builds to supercharger installs. So be sure to like them and check back often to see what kind of ground pounding LSX project they are putting together to terrorize a street near you.
