Video: Kid’s Corvette Z06 Bed – Why Don’t They Make This In King?

Back in February, we showed you photos of the new Corvette Z06 bed from Step2, and you went nuts for it. The good news is that now we have a video showing just how cool it is. The bad news is that they STILL don’t make it in King or Queen size, which seems like a big opportunity missed.

In the video, we get to see some of the cool details, like the Hot Wheels-scale oval track that’s usable when the bed is configured for a toddler mattress (it will hold a twin, so that your kid can continue to enjoy it right up to the time they discover the opposite sex, and possibly beyond) and the push-switch headlamps. While the price tag isn’t quite as low as we had originally hoped at $329 from Amazon.com (but free shipping for Prime members!), it still seems reasonable enough for the car loving kid in your life.

Of course, if you REALLY love your kid (or just have crippling OCD), you can get the matching dresser for $109.99, and storage chest for $64.99. Even if you go for broke and buy the whole set, at least it’s a less expensive way to live vicariously through your children than a Jr. Dragster…
