Video: Guy Crams LED Lights in Every Air Duct Possible on His C7

When a person modifies their car, it is most definitely a form of self-expression. Some car enthusiasts modify their cars for power, some modify for handling and grip, and some modify their cars just because they have a car in general.

[1]That’s all well and good, but when you have LED lights installed into every working air duct on your new C7 Corvette, it just looks a little ludicrous. Maybe YouTube user Eddie Z. wants his C7 to look like a UFO when he drives it around at night? We couldn’t tell you, but we can imagine that it is taking away from the purpose of the NACA ducts and extractor vents that GM implemented into the body of the C7.

Even if the LED strips that were used are really thin and don’t take up a lot of space, we still wouldn’t recommend lighting up your ducts, but that’s just us. Here at CorvetteOnline, we’re open to all kinds of modifications and we’re not hating at all, but we are entitled to an honest opinion, and honestly, we’re glad that there was no under-glow neon used to give this C7 a “flashy” appeal – if there was, we would have to make some cliché references to the first two Fast And The Furious movies – that’s just what happens when an over-lit car catches our eye.

We have no doubt in our minds that Eddie Z. will put some cool parts on his C7, but more lights would be straight overkill – Happy modding!
