[1]When you think of cars in Finland you don’t normally think of vintage Corvettes. However, on the brick roads of Kotka, this gorgeous yellow 1973 Chevy Corvette was turning plenty of heads. This Vette has been fully restored with a superb paint job, factory fresh interior and a motor whose roar is like music to our ears, thanks to YouTube user Jamboolio [2] who shared the above video with us.
Providing this soundtrack is lightly tuned small block Chevy 350 engine sitting under the hood. Enhancing the sound is what appears to be a custom exhaust system. Inside of the car houses two mint condition brown leather seats, a mean lookin’ dashboard with dished gauges and a column mounted tach so the driver can see the redline. The center console’s cluster of gauges and polished shifter plate make the interior look like belongs in a race car.

The exterior has been restored to better than factory condition; the sun yellow paint job combined with the aftermarket wheels turn plenty of heads. The Vettes unique design, curves & all American styling earns numerous compliments everywhere it goes. The ’73 Vette is a special ride, it’s the blue collar man’s sports car. It scoffs at speed limits and it looks like it’s blazing down the highway even when standing still. Would a Vette like this remind you of home if you were traveling abroad?
