It has long been said that it’s best to get your information from the horse’s mouth, otherwise you’re just left with what comes out the other end. So it was for the Corvette faithful who gathered at Sebring International Raceway recently for the American LeMans Series (ALMS) debut race.
Chevrolet and Corvette Racing had a pretty big presence there, showing several 2011 models as well as more interesting variants that will never see more public spaces than this.
As they did last year, Corvette Product Marketing Manager Harlan Charles and Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter came to Sebring to speak and interact with the assembled Corvette owners.
Keith Cornett from Corvette Blogger also made the trip and recorded much of the presentations from both Charles and Juechter. The result is a 45-minute long video that we’ve linked to below.
Among the other comments passed along from the Corvette executives were that nobody has yet come close to publishing the C7’s exterior design, and those of you hungry for 2012 model information will find it all at the at the National Corvette Museum’s C5/C6 Bash in April.
Grab a drink, turn up the speakers, say ‘Thanks’ to Keith and catch up on the very latest inside news.
