Video: Giving New Meaning to “Muscle Car”

First, in the interest of full disclosure, I admit that I am the last person on earth who has a right to say anything at all about anyone else’s level of fitness or body type – I decided some time ago that I wanted to get in shape, and the shape I chose was a sphere. I am well on my way to achieving that goal.

Second, the subject of this video, Canadian “fitness model” Julie Bonnett, who with her husband Craig Bonnett runs the Contestprep.com [1] fitness website, could probably peel me like an orange should she so desire.

[2]With those caveats, I present you the video above of Ms. Bonnett displaying her level of fitness on and in the general vicinity of Mr. Bonnett’s C6.

In the space in the Venn diagram where arousal and terror intersect, we find Ms. Bonnett posing on the hood of the Corvette, spraying on some olive oil to even out her sheen, then posing some more among a couple of different military vehicles before having a relaxing sunset pose with the Corvette once more.

Olive oil is not a recommended car detailing product.

Whatever your esthetic opinion may be, you have to admire the devotion it takes to reach and maintain this level of physical fitness. Our only concern is that putting an oiled-up Amazon on the hood of a Y-body is an express train to never achieving an NCRS Top Flight Award…
