In Episode 9 of the second season of Chevrolet’s “Track to Street” series we get a look at all the action from the Corvette World Tribute, held at Road America last month. According to the video caption, The Corvette World Tribute was organized to be an event “where Chevrolet’s supercar is celebrated by owners and drivers of all models, both on and off the track.” The event featured a vast variety of Corvettes from every era from C1 all the way to C6, blasting around Road America’s track, or just showing off for the crowd in the display area.

Event participant John Rische says, “The people that have cars here range anywhere from the average Corvette owner that just wanted a little track time, and that experience, to the vintage racer… to enthusiasts and collectors.”

Even legendary Corvette Racing driver Ron Fellows (known as the “Corvette Racing Ambassador”), and the current Corvette Racing Compuware C6.R’s joined in on the fun. Fellows offered this perspective on the event: “To see a lot of the vintage Corvette race cars, and having the current GT [ALMS] cars out here flying around as well, it’s a very cool day.” We agree Mr. Fellows – any day spent ripping around the track in a Corvette of any vintage, is a very cool day indeed.
