Video: C6 Corvette With E-Force Blower Puts Down 710 RWHP

As enthusiasts, we’re always on the lookout for more horsepower and performance from our muscle and sports cars. Edelbrock has been there to help us each and every step of the way, and their latest E-Force supercharger kit for LS series engines continues that legacy.

The Edelbrock E-Force supercharger kit looks right at home - almost factory - inside the engine bay of this C6 Z06.

Designed for use with the LS2, LS3 and LS7 engines, the 2.3L E-Force EFI twin rotor supercharger kit utilizes the same type of design that’s found in the coveted LS9 Corvette ZR1. This gives you supercar performance from your standard or Z06 C6 – for a fraction of the cost!

Recently, Edelbrock has sent over this video to us depicting what sort of performance gains you can expect from such a system when installed on an LS7-equipped C6 Z06. We get legitimate proof of the power thanks to a dyno run made at the SeriousHP facility.

Strapped to the dyno, and equipped with an optional smaller pulley, a few engine mods, and a tune, the Z put down 710 RWHP to the rollers. That’s quite an improvement over the stock LS7’s output, and for what’s basically a bolt-on kit, quite easy horsepower.

To prove how docile (and quick) an E-Force-blown Corvette can be, the boys from SeriousHP takes the Vette for a spin down a local highway to put the horsepower on display. While the acceleration is impressive, the modern design of both the LS7 engine and the E-Force supercharger make the car incredibly docile to drive in traffic. If the E-Force is something you’re interested in, give Edelbrock or one of their many suppliers a call to order your kit today!
