People have all sorts of ideas on how they want to customize their Corvette–ground effects, carbon fiber panels, wings and spoilers, the list goes on and on. Forgiato, the world’s most notorious maker of things round and gaudy (re: SICK RIMZ!), did its take on a C7 coupe with eye-popping results, as you can see here.
The package boils down to a widebody kit, featuring flared arches, aggressive front splitter, and a lip spoiler sticking up off of the deck lid. That, in addition to the reflective chrome gold wrap applied to the entire exterior, was the work of TS Designs, a company out of Southern California. TSD’s efforts have made waves at venues put on by SEMA and DUB, and have netted such honors as the GM Design Award, the Gran Turismo People’s Choice Award, and the DUB Magazine Builder of the Year Award.
Forgiato took the opportunity to showcase a fresh design on this particular Vette, the F2.21 in a black and gold finish. The wheel is part of the 2.0 Series, and comes in sizes ranging from 20 to 26 inches in diameter. The Corvette features the F2.21s in a 20-inch size.
The aesthetics may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but you can’t argue that this Stingray will score points for attention-grabbing potential. According to Forgiato, the car is scheduled to make its way to a new owner; if you were him, would you keep the car looking the way it does now? Or would you rip off all the glitzy stuff as soon as possible?
