2014 Corvette Stingray equipped with Hennessey HPE650 Package

If you have been around the automotive performance aftermarket for awhile or even looked up your favorite vehicle on YouTube, chances are you have stumbled across one of the numerous high performance videos from Hennessey Performance. The team at Henessey Performance has been tearing up the Texas roadways for years now with their slew of insanely powerful vehicles and whenever a new performance vehicle is released, it is safe to say they have their eyes on making one faster.

For the C7 Stingray, Henessey was the first aftermarket company to achieve a top speed of over 200 mph (which they did on a closed section of Texas highway) and since then they have been developing numerous levels of performance kits for the C7. If you are lucky enough to own a C7, are a bit of a speed freak, and have an additional $20,000 burning a hole in your pocket, their newly released HPE650 and HPE700 kits may be exactly what you should consider.

While Hennessey offers numerous levels of upgrades for the C7, the HPE650 and HPE700 packages are both supercharger packages as opposed to turbos or being naturally aspirated. These two packages are specifically for the C7 and are limited to only 100 units of each kit being produced for 2014. The HPE650 kit (starting at $15,950) produces 650 hp whereas the HPE700 (starting at $22,500) produces 700 hp. Both packages include new high-flow superchargers, air induction systems, thermostats, fluids, gaskets, and pulleys. In addition, each of the units will be individually marked with its serial number on a custom dash plaque. These kits are very tempting, but, as of right now these kits are not California emissions compliant so if you live in “The Golden State”, you may want to move.
