Total Performance Engineering with SPEC

[1]

In December of 2007, Total Performance [2] Engineering became the worldwide distributor for the Chevrolet Division of Kenne Bell Supercharger products. Initially located in Henderson, NV, the company’s rapid growth forced a move to facilities at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway the following year.

[3]Jeff Gooss is the President and Owner of Total Performance Engineering, and has a reputation for building some of the most known and featured performance cars in the world. He has personally received almost 100 pages of magazine print, almost a dozen magazine features and multiple magazine covers for his work. Jeff’s attention to detail and meticulous eye, are some of the reasons why customers have driven their vehicle over 6000 miles round trip, just for him to work on their vehicle.

When it comes to performance components, Gooss settles for nothing but the best. That includes names like Kenne Bell, Kooks headers, Comp Cams and SPEC clutches. When Paul from Chicago dropped off his 2006 Corvette Convertible, he wanted to keep it as a daily driver with 100% reliability. When the ‘Vert left Las Vegas, it was rated at 546 rwhp and 526 rwtq. Paul liked that a lot, but even more he loved the 1800 mile road trip home at 25 mpg.

Jeff Gooss knows that whether his customers want wild, mild or insane, SPEC has a clutch product for that application. SPEC clutches come in a variety of performance levels for different applications, including Street Performance, Drag or Road Racing, Rally, Drift and Autocross.

SPEC actively supports the hobby as well. The company has been an NMRA Sponsor and Contingency Sponsor since 2001, in addition to supporting other racing series. You can visit the SPEC website [4] for more information.
