The C7 Stingray Just Became More Alluring with Leaked Options List

As if the C7 Corvette wasn’t impressive enough already, Chevrolet has made a few key additions to the options list that will entice anybody who isn’t already convinced… that is if you can find anybody who isn’t already sold on the American supercar. For starters, the new 8L90 eight-speed automatic transmission will be introduced for the first time ever, making the six-speed from the prior year officially a thing of the past. This is something that we’ve been hearing about that will finally be materialized in 2015 in both the Stingray and z06, making it the fastest shifting Corvette coupe ever along with adding two additional overdrive gears for gas savings on the highway.

Shark Gray Metallic is a tad lighter than Cyber Gray Metallic and has been seen on the new z06.

Also just announced for 2015 are two additional appearance packages that fill in what was missing in 2014. The ZF1 Package will include a paint matched spoiler and steal the rims from the Z51 package. If that doesn’t meet your tastes, the Carbon Fiber Ground Effects Package will throw in a front splitter, side skirts, and a different rear spoiler. Obviously they will all be constructed of carbon fiber. A few other odds and ends you can pick up are black and silver valve stems, different badges, and suede headliner amongst other add-ons.

In addition to Sunset Orange Metallic, Daytona Sunrise Metallic will now be offered.

Unfortunately, if you’re a fan of Cyber Gray Metallic or Lime Rock Green Metallic you’re going to have to kiss them goodbye. Included in the base price will be the cost of optional Shark Gray Metallic or for a slightly higher price Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic can be added. Although the 2014 is a stellar car for sure, these packages definitely take a step toward completing the masterpiece that is the C7.
