The C6 Corvette Gets A Little Coach-Built Italian Love

No matter how you look at the C6 Corvette, it’s an all-around great car. With that being said, it also serves as a great platform to build on – maybe that’s why the Italians like it so much.

The car that you see in front of you is called the Soleil Anadi, which means “no limits” in Hindi, is an Italian coach-built work of art based off of the C6 Platform. The Milan-based company, Soleil Motors ^[3], is said to only produce 300 of these works of art and will cost $299K each.

Since the Soleil Anadi is based off of the C6 platform, it employs the 6.2L LS3 engine which is force-fed by an unknown brand of centrifugal supercharger that has been re-branded by the company. The engine and supercharger combo puts out 651 horsepower and 571 pound-feet of torque, which enables the car to get up to 60 mph, supposedly, in less than 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 202 mph. On another note, did anyone else notice the use of Dodge Challenger taillights, though? Weird.

^[6]The interior is beautiful as well, however, we could do without the woodgrain trim – carbon fiber would definitely be our first choice for a substitute, just sayin’. Made by Ercole and Paolo Spada of Spada Concept Design ^[7], the interior features reupholstered C6 seats with diamond stitched seat inserts with white piping, fully reconfigured and reupholstered dash and center console, as well as contrasting stitching throughout the cabin.

The Soleil Anadi was debuted at the Top Marques ^[8] show in 2011 in beautiful Monaco, but customers started taking delivery late 2012/early 2013. What do you think of this coach-built beauty? It’s obviously worth $300K to some, is it worth $300K to you? Let us know in the comments below!
