[1]Although jolly St. Nick will soon be making his rounds, bringing toys to good girls and boys for Christmas, him and Mrs. Claus took some time off to visit with kids and their families at the annual Breakfast with Santa at the National Corvette Museum [3](NCM) on November 26th. Traditionally flown around by eight tiny reindeer (Rudolph isn’t canon), Santa didn’t arrive at the museum in his sleigh for this event. Rather, it seems that Santa traded in his magical combo for a special edition Corvette for the occasion. Thanks to CorvetteBlogger [2] for bringing us the news.
[4] Breakfast with Santa is an annual tradition at the NCM. This year he arrived driving the 15th Anniversary NCM Corvette – a white ‘10 Grand Sport with red and black detailing. While we like the sleigh, the NCM Corvette is definitely a trade up from the traditional digs.
In addition to seeing Santa’s Corvette and eating a hot breakfast at the event, children and their families got to take pictures with the chubby elf, do arts and crafts, watch holiday performances and have story time with Mrs. Claus. The NCM also offered great holiday shopping along Corvette Boulevard for the first time in Santa’s Market.
While we have a feeling that Santa could deliver presents just as fast in the NCM Corvette as he does in the sleigh, we have a feeling it wouldn’t do as well when trying to cross oceans. Since he won’t be using it, we hope that means he’ll be dropping it under our tree come Christmas. After all,we’ve been good boys and girls this year!
