Pink C4 Raises Breast Cancer Awareness and Money For The Cause

No, this isn’t a life-size interpretation of the Barbie-Mobile. This car has a much more noble purpose than paying homage to a plastic toy. This special C4 has been restored and painted pink as part of the Meadville Medical Center’s Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute’s “Cruisin’ for the Cure” fundraiser, that we were tipped off to by our friends at Corvette Blogger.

The Pink Corvette will make a stop at several fundraisers throughout the North-East and Midwest to help the institute raise enough funds to purchase a special vehicle to help patients who don’t have transportation of their own get to and from appointments. The goal for the fundraisers is $20,000, and later Pink C4 itself will be auctioned off to help raise even more money for the project.

Also, anyone who makes a donation during Crusin’ for the Cure will also get the opportunity to make their own mark on the Pink C4… literally. Donors will be allowed to sign the car, and to kick things off, Jay Leno has already signed the air cleaner cover.
