MagnaFlow Releases New Axle-back Exhaust System for C7 Z06 Corvette

MagnaFlow is proud to introduce their latest axle-back exhaust system for the C7 Z06 Corvette. This system looks great while it really opens up the Z06’s sound and lets it roar.

The C7 Z06 is a truly world-beating supercar. The level of performance that GM brought to the table when they released the Z06 was such that the Europeans were forced to stand up and take notice, this is before you even bring up the fact that the car starts at well under $100,000. The Z06’s new supercharged LT4 engine brings back all the great stuff that you’ve come to expect from a modern Corvette V8 including huge torque, incredibly compact design, and that great pushrod V8 sound. But, just because a car sounds good from the factory, doesn’t mean there isn’t room to make it sound even meaner and that’s where MagnaFlow steps in.

The stock exhaust system makes use of exhaust valves that help keep sound reasonable when you’re cruising and totally raucous when you get on it but GM definitely left something on the table when they designed it. MagnaFlow seeks to take advantage of this with an easy to fit, great looking axle-back system that really opens up the Z06’s sound and lets it roar.

The MagnaFlow Competition series axle-back exhaust system for the 2015 and 2016 Corvette Z06 is comprised of 3-inch stainless steel tubing and four 6-inch mufflers that end in four 4.5-inch polished stainless steel exhaust tips. The Magnaflow system also retains all of the factory electronic exhaust valve technology so you can have the exhaust quiet when you want it and mean when you put the pedal down. This system is fully 50-state legal and, like all MagnaFlow exhausts, was developed in-house and dyno tuned to increase power and torque. Also, like all MagnaFlow exhausts, this system gives the vehicle a smooth, deep tone with no annoying highway drone.
