Diablosport Introduces New Tunes For C7s

diablosport_1Diablosport is upping the ante for late model Corvettes with new tunes for the popular inTune and Infinity platforms. Up to 30 hp and 20 lb-ft of torque can be yours. See more details below.

Official Release/Features:

Our pre-loaded performance tunes could add up to 30 HP & 20 ft.-lbs. of torque over stock to your Corvette. The inTune and Trinity performance tuners are the easiest performance upgrade you can do, with the biggest power gain per dollar!

Power Where It Counts
The Corvette is a joy to drive, but being that we love making more power we could not resist playing with it! When we got our hands on one of the newest model, our first order of business was to strap it to the dyno and start tuning! We made big power on the C7 models with respectable gains of 20 rear wheel horse power on the LT1, and 30 on the Z06!

After our initial dyno testing, we took both cars out on the street for a for drivability testing. We noticed that even though both Corvettes had tons of power; there were still a lot of tuning tweaks we could do for a better driving experience. Both cars suffered from some heat soak issues, whether tuned or otherwise, which caused a huge drop in power around 4K RPM. We addressed that in our tunes and allow for full power all the way through the RPM range regardless of heat (we kept the safety precautions intact). Our R&D team then went through the tunes and enhanced the throttle response, and then added an adjustable option called “Throttle Booster” that allows users of our inTune and Trinity programmers to adjust throttle sensitivity even further on their own. We also added modifiable options for spark, fuel, cooling fans, idle RPM, tire size and gear ratio.

Our tunes made awesome power gains on 93-octane gas, but the dyno sheet cannot show you that after you tune install a tune, your car is going to feel better than ever! Whether you are just looking for more power or more responsiveness in your 2015 or 2016 Corvette, performance programmers are an easy way to make even more horsepower without even popping the hood!

Seven Preloaded Performance Tunes
The tune selections for the 2015 and 2016 Corvette depend on the type of gas you want to put in the tank. For best results, we always recommend running the highest-octane gas available in your area and running the tune associated with that octane rating (ex: 93 octane, 91 octane).

Corvette Z06 93 Octane Performance Tune+30 HP | + 20 TQ
Our tunes for 93 octane make the maximum amount of additional power available on the ’15-‘16 Corvette Z06, plus all of our pre-tuned drivability enhancements.

Corvette Z06 91 Octane Performance Tune+ 25 HP | + 20 TQ
The 91 Octane Performance tune “Premium” fuel that is available in some areas of the USA and abroad. It makes slightly less power than the 93 octane tune, but offers all of the same great drivability gains.

Corvette Stingray 91 Octane Performance Tune+ 15 HP | + 12-15 TQ
The 91 Octane Performance tune “Premium” fuel that is available in some areas of the USA and abroad. It makes slightly less power than the 93 octane tune, but offers all of the same great drivability gains.

Corvette Stingray 93 Octane AFE Cold Air Intake Tune+ 20-25 HP | +17-23 TQ
This tune adds an additional 20+ horsepower and 17+ ft. lbs. of torque to a Corvette that has an AFE cold air intake installed on it and uses 93 octane fuel. The gains may seem less than the 93 Octane performance tune, but this is only because the vehicle is already making more power and torque due to the intake system. Using this tune the Corvette should see peak of 436 HP and 435 TQ. (Note, exact peak numbers will vary from vehicle to vehicle).

Corvette Stingray 91 Octane AFE Cold Air Intake Tune+ 15-20 HP | + 15-20 TQ
This tune adds an additional 15+ horsepower and 15+ ft. lbs. of torque to a Corvette that has an AFE cold air intake installed on it and uses 91 octane fuel. The gains may seem less than the 91 Octane performance tune, but this is only because the vehicle is already making more power and torque due to the intake system. Using this tune the Corvette should see peak of 432 HP and 431 TQ (Note, exact peak numbers will vary from vehicle to vehicle).

Modify Stock Tune
This tune uses the Corvette’s factory calibration, but allows for modifications to the tune to suit your own needs
