National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Racetrack features 3.15 miles in maximum configuration with 4 miles of overall pavement, which can be arranged into four different configurations.

The holy ground of Bowling Green, Kentucky has a newly completed attraction transforming the pilgrimage there into a trifecta of insane Corvette goodness. You would think touring Corvette Final Assembly and then walking across the street to visit the National Corvette Museum would be enough to take in on one trip, but now National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park  is open and has was recently named “The Most Outstanding Facility of the Year” Created by the Race Track Business Conference, the award was presented at the 2014 Racing Industry Trade Show. To get an idea of how big an honor this is for the newly opened facility, last year’s recipient was none other than world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This is killer news for Vette and performance car fans everywhere.

Situated on 186 acres, the NCM Motorsports Park is a scalable motorsports venue featuring a 315 mile road course which can be arranged into four different configurations. In addition, there’s an autocross/skid pad and future control tower with meeting rooms, offices and classrooms. With an additional 219 acres under option, there’s room for additional plans including pavilion/concessions, tech station, fueling station, and commercial business park.

“The NCM Motorsports Park is the next generation venue that meets the demands of automotive manufacturers and after-market performance entities”, said Racing Industry Trade Show organizer, Tim Frost. “Having a facility that is close to the Corvette assembly plant provides a unique opportunity for performance research and development.” The facility will also provide a environment for racers of all levels to learn to drive competitively or simply hone their driving skills.

The track was designed by Crawford and Associates with input from Pratt & Miller Engineering and Corvette Racing.
