[3] December is a very busy month for Santa, so it’s quite the treat for him to make time to once again stop by the NCM for this year’s holiday event December 9th from 1pm until 3pm. The event will feature photo opportunities with Santa with your own camera or a professional photographer, arts and crafts and even some sweet holiday treats. Adding to the excitement this year will be sleigh rides with Santa offered in his Corvette sleigh around the museum grounds. Tickets for the event are just $5 and anyone ages 4 and up can get your ride in Santa’s sleigh for just $5 more. Be sure to get your tickets online [4] soon because there are only few sleigh rides left.

Also this holiday season, the NCM is offering a Holiday Science Day [2] on Wednesday December 19th from 8am until 4:30pm with Hooked on Science’s “Mr. Science” Jason Lindsey.

At this all-day event, children from Kindergarten through 6th grade will learn the science behind the holiday season through fun activities including making a holiday science ornament, making instant snow and determining how Santa really gets down the chimney. Only 20 openings for this fun educational event are available so be sure to secure ones for your kids today. Individual tickets are $35 with a discount for museum members with special coupon code that can be obtained by calling the museum. Participants will need to provide their own lunch while a snack in the afternoon will be provided.

The holiday season is filled with fun activities of all kinds. Why not make yours include a visit (or two) to the NCM for a unique holiday experience?
