Mr. T Makes Off With Bondurants’ ZR-1

Believe it or not, this was not a direct marketing ploy for the big-screen adaptation of the the 1980’s action series, “A-Team,” nor was it a leak for a potential sequel, although we do remember “Face” driving a white-and-red-striped convertible ‘Vette towards the end of the series. Rather, this was a whole heck of a lot of fun hosted by the Bondurant’s School of High Performance Driving out of Arizona. Together with local Fox-channel affiliate’s live morning show, “My Fox Phoenix [1],” they put on a tongue-in-cheek show with world-famous Mr. T and the guys from WillItMakeIt.com.

We spotted this post over on CorvetteBlogger [4] where the morning show showcased some of WillItMakeIt.com’s signature stunts including a “hot pursuit” reenactment using “Duke of Hazzard’s” unlucky sheriff, Roscoe P. Coltrane’s 1970’s Plymouth Fury Police Car as it tried desperately to keep up with Bondurant’s ’10 Corvette ZR-1.

Mr. T was present with a collection of iconic movie and television cars including the A-Team’s custom two-toned GMC Vandura van as well as K.I.T.T. and an actor that apparently somewhat resembled David “This is a mess” Hasselhoff. You can see video of the segments on My Fox Phoenix [1].
