McBen Motorsports made an exciting announcement this month in regards to their upcoming race season – for 2011, McBen will be partnering with Pfadt Race Engineering. Pfadt, a leading Corvette performance products provider, is joining forces with the championship team, upping the probability of success from previous seasons.
The McBen race team had a great 2010 season with first-year driver Pete McIntosh II claiming the National Auto Sports Association’s Northeast Drivers Championship. The McBen team is looking for an even better season in 2011.
“It was a great year,” said team owner Peter McIntosh Sr. regarding the 2010 season, “but at this point we are looking to the future. That’s why we are working with Pfadt.”
Pfadt Race Engineering is a well known name in the automotive industry, manufacturing and distributing performance parts for Camaros and Corvettes. “We looked for someone with a proven track record,” McIntosh Sr. stated. “Pfadt brings that experience to our team.”
Selected as the exclusive suspension supplier by GM for the Corvette Z06X and Camaro SSX, Pfadt products, such as the Feather Light Generation Corvette coilovers, will be implemented on the McBen cars as the team moves forward in their ST1 effort.
We wish the team luck in the 2011 season and congratulate them, and Pfadt Race Engineering, on the new partnership. We look forward to following their cooperative effort and racing success.
