On September 1, 2013, the crowds will descend upon Atlanta to watch one of the greatest races in NASCAR: the AdvoCare 500. And this year, Ingersoll Rand [2], the big name in air compressors, professional tools, and equipment, is keen to get a couple of bright-eyed and bushy-tailed tech school scholars out there to see the race as part of the Fast Track to Success Contest.
But they won’t be treated like Joe Schmoes, no sir; they’ll be receiving the “ThunderGun Experience,” named after the company’s successful line of impact tools. This experience includes premium hospitality, VIP track access to the pits and driving simulators, and airfare and hotel accommodations. Yeehaw!
The contest is part and parcel of Ingersoll Rand’s principle of dedication to the future of automotive enthusiasm and their mission to serve same. The company already provides a sweet deal to both current technical program students and recent (six-month) graduates with its Student Program [4], which offers tools, accessories, and cordless battery packages for up to 60% off the standard price.
Entry into the contest costs only a “Like” on the Ingersoll Rand Facebook page [5] and a little bit of time. Entrants need simply fill out the submission form [6] and then submit either a video or written response about why he or she likes Ingersoll Rand products.
Following that step, the company will post these submissions to Facebook where everyone can vote on their favorite. The contest will run from now until August 9th, ending at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Talk about a great opportunity for these students and graduates. We wish them well in the contest! And even if you’re not eligible for the sweepstakes, you can’t deny that Ingersoll Rand is on your side when it comes to cars. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for future events and promotions.
