All right all you Lingenfelter fans, block out September 21st through 23rd, 2012 on your calendars now, because you don’t want to miss what promises to be a tire-melting, bang-shifting, redline-chasing weekend of no-holds-barred racing action, mixed in with a ton of off-track fun.
The first ever Lingenfelter Nationals is set to go down this September at the Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, but that doesn’t mean that it’s going to be nothing but drag racing action. The gearheads at Lingenfelter also want to see how quick your Lingenfelter-equipped car can get through the autocross, and how well you can haul it down in the speed stop challenge. As an added bonus, the Lingenfelter Nationals will serve as an official qualifying event for the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Challenge. There will also be plenty of car showin’ and country side crusin’ going down, so make your plans to attend now.

DECATUR, Ind. – Lingenfelter Performance Engineering (LPE), the engine specialists known for their racing expertise, is excited to announce a brand new event for customers and enthusiasts in 2012: The Lingenfelter Performance Nationals.
The Lingenfelter Performance Nationals is a jam-packed weekend that will feature drag racing, autocross, car show, speed stop challenge, countryside cruise and a manufacturer’s midway Sept. 21-23, 2012 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
With classes that level the playing field between professional and amateur drivers, the Lingenfelter Performance Nationals will offer drag racing, an invitation-only bracket race and a Battle of the Brands event that pits Ford, GM and Chrysler vehicles against one another.
