HRE Wheels Shows Corvette C8 Render

Aria-Fast-Eddy-Mid-Engine-Corvette-Concept-004-720x340 [1]Hysteria might be too harsh of a word, but there’s definitely some “energy” surrounding the mid-engine GM supercar that’s been riding the waves of the internet over the last year or so.

Many folks have offered speculation, opinions and renders. Even custom wheel Goliath HRE has thrown their hat in the ring with a smoothie, mid-engine Corvette idea that blends cab forward proportions with 1968 Corvette curves and the result is quite fetching.

According to The Daily Sun Knoxville, “HRE collaborated with Fast Eddy and Aria Group to paint this gorgeous image of how a mid-engine C8 Corvette could possibly look like.

It’s definitely love at first sight for us and we even think that any Porsche 911 will not be able to stand a chance against this model.

As stunning as this model is, it seems highly unlikely that most of the elements seen on this render would actually make it unto a production, mid-engine Corvette.

It just doesn’t share much similarities to the Corvette. Take its rear for example, this part looks more like a Lamborghini with just a hint of the C7 Corvette in its taillights.

However, we have to admit that the HRE wheels sitting in all four corners is definitely impressive. Well, it looks like we’ll just have to keep on dreaming of this beauty as it may never see the light of day.”

Our sources at GM are tight lipped and details are still sketchy on what exactly is brewing at hallowed GM Design in Warren, MI. We do know that when this mid-engine car drops, hysteria will be the key word.
