Garage Rocker Jack White Roasts a C7’s Tires in his Video Lazaretto

[1]Jack White, Detroit’s garage rockin’ son recently released a high octane video for his latest track Lazaretto. The video shot in black and white has a taste of the 1960’s rebellion complete with psychedelic clothes, triple hum bucker guitars, and a big smokey burnout performed by a black C7 Corvette. The viewers are treated to an octane filled show of the C7 roasting tires, laying down patches, and throwing clouds of smoke into the air while doing donuts to a whalin’ guitar solo. The Corvette C7 is marked with a number 3 on it’s doors following White’s obsession of the number.

The C7 is a modern engineering marvel of power and performance. It’s power is generated by the LT1 6.2L V-8 which produces a gut wrenching 460 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque that’s guarantee to push you into your seat. The motor is mated to a seven-speed manual which is equipped with active rev matching and launch control for drag racing. This is the most powerful Corvette to ever roll off the assembly line and what better way to honor this new beast than with donuts and rock n roll.

For those of you who don’t know, White is a huge fan of American Muscle. He even got behind the wheel of a green 1970 Hemi Cuda in his video for Freedom 21.
