The B&M Automotive Group [2], a company that is well known in the automotive performance field, has added Flowmaster Exhaust [3] to their portfolio of companies. Flowmaster has been providing performance exhaust systems and components to enthusiasts since 1983.
[4]B&M, once a component supplier itself stepped up their game a couple of years back with the acquisition of Hurst Shifters. This latest addition expands the scope of the company in supplying components to the automotive aftermarket.
Nate Shelton, chief marketing officer for B&M explains. “Flowmaster is an exciting addition for B&M both from a fit and synergy standpoint. We look forward to the product and business growth opportunities associated with this great brand.”
Flowmaster currently employs more than 250 employees in three facilities in the United States. The company builds over 400 different muffler models, 370+ exhaust systems and exhaust accessories as well.
B&M Racing and Performance products was established in 1953 and currently supplies a wide range of power transmission products, including shifters for automatic and manual transmissions, torque converters, transmissions, coolers and accessories. B&M is located in Chatsworth, CA.
