Have you ever been driving down the street and seen a car that you just can’t take your eyes off of and wondered what it would take to have a car like that? Now its easier than ever to find the car of your dreams!

With over 2,800 cars and 127,000 parts sold each week with the eBay Motors iPhone application, it seems that tons of automotive enthusiasts are already enjoying the perks of having the national auction site right at their fingertips wherever they are. The new Vehicle Finder feature allows shoppers to take a picture of any car they see and instantly search for similar vehicles on eBay, no typing required. This makes it easy to pinpoint specific cars or features you’re interested in without having to search through postings of no relevance.

Users of the upgraded app also have access to exclusive eBay Motors broadcasts with the new streaming video feature. This feature was kicked off a couple weeks ago at the Rolex 24 [5] with former Le Mans winner Justin Bell [6] bringing viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the 50th anniversary race. Bell even gave live updates of the event from inside the Children’s Tumor Foundation/ Racing4Research/Magnus Racing No.4 Porsche that he was racing.

More features added to the eBay application also include auction notifications if you’re outbid, updates on current best offers and notifications when auctions you’re watching are about to end. The ability to share items from eBay with your friends on Twitter and easily update your online Garage are also upgraded features.

The updated eBay Motors application for the iPhone is available through the App Store or through eBay [7]. If you’re looking for an easier car buying experience or want to get in on eBay’s exclusive coverage of races and automotive events, be sure to check it out!
