GM commemorated the end of the super-successful GT1 reign with the ’09 ALMS GT1 Championship Edition. 600 of the GT1 Championship Edition Corvettes were planned, but the financial blowout resulted in only 125 of the commemorative Corvettes being built.
Courtesy Chevrolet out of San Jose, California listed this 2009 ALMS GT1 Championship Edition Corvette Coupe. Out of the planned 300 Velocity Yellow GT1 Corvettes, only 77 were built and only 29 of those were coupes while 48 GT1 Corvettes were painted black for a total production run of 125. Based on the VIN, this Corvette is #20 of the 77.
The Corvette comes with a 6-speed paddle shift auto, custom-stitched bucket seats, 6-disc CD changer, dual roof package, chrome wheels, DVD navigation system and heads up display. Special exterior badges and interior embroidery features Corvette Racing’s mascot “Jake” abound.

A scant 23 miles are on the odometer, and while the original MSRP was $69,810, the dealer is listing $51,810.
